Literacy Celebration in Hamilton

I’m thrilled to have been invited to participate in a Family Literacy Celebration at Adelaide Hoodless Public School in Hamilton on Thursday March 3rd.

My presentation will take place around 5 p.m. and I’ll be sharing a variety of poetry and stories with my audience.  Hope to meet you there!


Aurora Grove P.S.

Next Wednesday February 9th is a special one for me.  I’ll be spending some time with the students (and some parents too!) of Aurora Grove Public School in Aurora.  At 2 p.m. I’ll be speaking to the Juniors about my poetry and stories, how I became a writer and where I get my ideas.  Then, at 6 p.m., the Primaries and their parents will be joining me for “Snuggle Up and Read”!  They’ll be wearing their jammies and bringing along their favourite blankets or stuffies, I’m sure.  I’m wondering if I should wear my jammies too!!

OLA Conference

I’ll be appearing at the OLA Conference taking place at the Metro Convention Centre, on Thursday February 3rd, 2011, at 11:30.  I’ll be signing my latest novel, The Snowball Effect, at the Orca booth.  Hope to meet you there!


Brand new week

My first writing week of the new year.  Hmmm, what should I work on this week?  Maybe I should just take another day off to think about it!
